About Me
My name is John Garrett and I live in the small town of Kaycee, Wyoming. I grew up on my dad’s ranch on the Middle Fork of Powder River. My educational apogee was graduating from the University of Wyoming in 2000.
Over the years I have done a lot of things, from working cattle to helping design LaserJet printers at Hewlett Packard in Boise, Idaho. I am also a pretty decent Network Administrator and programmer.
Recently I was hired by Anadarko Petroleum. I work with the Powder River Basin Water Pipeline organization, we deliver produced water from northeast Wyoming to Midwest, Wyoming, where it is injected thousands of feet underground.
In my spare time I enjoy being with my family, learning about the FreeBSD operating system, learning about Java programming and watching pointless television.
Take care,
John R. Garrett
